Merit Badge Mania Registration

For MB Mania details, see the event on January 31st.  Mr. Baum will be registering Scouts with Duck Creek District on Thursday, November 6th during Roundtable.  To be registered, sign up and selct your MBs on the troop website, then pay your fees ($10) at Monday's meeting.  There will be other opportunities to register in December and January.

Medicine Merit Badge - Blood Pressure Screening Nov.1st at the FPC Breakfast

Just a reminder. If you have been participating in the Medicine Merit Badge, there will be a blood pressure check at the FPC Breakfast from 7:30 am until 10:30 am.  This is the last requirement for the merit badge assuming you have turned in your completed worksheet to Ms. Balanciere and she has signed off on it.  Please remember to sign up for this event on the website.  If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Balanciere.

BSA Museum announces December Merit Badge Sessions

THE BSA MUSEUM HAS POSTED DECEMBER MERIT BADGES OPPORTUNITIES.  THEY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:  Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the Community, American Cultures, Salesmanship, Reading, Art, Energy, Soil & Water and Oceanography.The cost of the workshop Is $20.  The National Scouting Museum is located at 1329 W. Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, Texas 75038.  To enroll, please call Elaine Bressman at 972-580-2466.  You will need to provide the following information Scout Name, Troop number, phone number, and email address.  If you choose to do a program through the Museum, please send a request to Ms. Crank to open a blue card for the merit badge.  Merit Badges taken at the Museum require the Scout Masters signature on the blue cards to sign-up.

Current and former Scouts, age 14 to 19, can write a short essay (800 words or fewer) for a chance to win $1,000 for themselves and $500 for their Scout unit.
