We hope that you'll find the new site useful and easy to use.  Most of the information is protected for our privacy so you must be a member of Troop 1989, and have a username and password to enjoy the rich content within the site. Ziplining Campout (Sep 18-20) – Registration closes and payment is due at Troop meeting on Sep 7. 

Aviation MB Campout (Oct 2-3)Registration closed on Aug 3.  Contact Frank Baum if you'd still like to attend.

Troop Campout (Oct 23-25) -  Registration closes and payment is due at the Troop meeting on Oct 19. 

Circle Ten Xperience (Nov 13-15) – Early Bird registration closes on Sep 14.  Cost increases $4 after Sep 14.  Registration closes and payment is due on Nov 9.

Group Dynamix Lock-in (Dec 18-19) – Registration closes and payment is due at the Troop meeting on Nov 16.

C.O.P.E. Campout (Jan 15-17) - TBD

Indoor Skydiving Outing - TBD

Troop Campout (Feb 19-21) - Registration closes and payment is due at the Troop meeting on Feb 15. 

Shooting Sports Campout (Mar 18-20) - Registration closes and payment is due at the Troop meeting on Mar 14. 

District Camporee (Apr 8-10) - TBD

Climbing Campout (May 20-22) - TBD

Troop Campout (June 17-19) - Registration closes and payment is due at the Troop meeting on Jun 13.

Northern Tier (June 29 - July 11, 2106):  Registration closed.  If you want to be added to our wait list, contact Joe Kurilla.  First payment is due NLT Sep 14th.

Monday's Meeting is a Patrol Leaders Council.  Only PLC members are required to attend.  No TTFC.

Window opens for 2015 Eagle Scout scholarships; deadline now Oct. 31

College is expensive. The National Eagle Scout Association wants to help.

The window for 2015 Eagle Scout scholarships — offering cash for college to those who have earned Scouting’s highest honor — is now open. The deadline to apply is earlier this year; applications must be received by Oct. 31, 2015.

THE BSA MUSEUM HAS POSTED OCTOBER MERIT BADGES OPPORTUNITIES. THEY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Cooking, Personal Management, Family Life, Citizenship in the Nation, Communication, American Cultures, Inventing, Citizenship in the World, Energy, Reading, Scouting Heritage, and Genealogy.  The cost of the workshop is $20. The National Scouting Museum is located at 1329 W. Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, Texas 75038. To enroll, please call Elaine Bressman at 972-580-2466. You will need to provide the following information Scout Name, Troop number, phone number, and email address. If you choose to do a program through the Museum, please send a request to Ms. Crank to open a blue card for the merit badge. Merit Badges taken at the Museum require the Scout Masters signature on the blue cards to sign-up.
