THE BSA MUSEUM HAS POSTED AUGUST MERIT BADGES OPPORTUNITIES. THEY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Electronics, Soil & Water, Energy, Chess, Mammal Study, Indian Lore, Scouting Heritage, Citizenship in the Community, Digital Technology, Personal Management, Family Life, Signs, Signals & Codes, Traffic Safety,  and Cooking. The cost of the workshop Is $20. The National Scouting Museum is located at 1329 W. Walnut Hill Lane, Irving, Texas 75038. To enroll, please call Elaine Bressman at 972-580-2466. You will need to provide the following information Scout Name, Troop number, phone number, and email address. If you choose to do a program through the Museum, please send a request to Ms. Crank to open a blue card for the merit badge. Merit Badges taken at the Museum require the Scout Masters signature on the blue cards to sign-up.

Monday's Meeting - CANCELLED (again)

Unfortunately, we have lost our meeting space on Monday night (June 22nd) due to Vacation Bible School.  Mrs. Crank and Mr. Baum will be available at the entrance to the main church (Sanctuary) to collect any Summer Camp documents (physicals, adult leader forms, etrc.) and payments.

ArrowTour is one of many programs and initiatives that comprise a year-long celebration of the Order of the Arrow's centennial anniversary. In the summer of 2015, four delegations of youth Arrowmen will travel to council camps and Scouting events to bring our national centennial experience to Scouts, Arrowmen, and communities throughout the country.

Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge April 6th - Scouts, Adults, and Siblings

On Monday, April 6th we will be continuing to work I n the Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge.  We will have a guest Merit Badge Instructor Ms. Laurie Poetschke.   We will be meeting on the first floor in the church where we have the Saturday breakfasts.
